How photo to anime works
A photo to anime converter is a focused use of image to image AI. Instead of describing a character from scratch, you give the model a real photo and ask it to redraw that photo in anime style. Prompt tips
- Protect the likeness. Add “keep the same face shape, hairstyle and expression” if the result drifts away from the person in the photo.
- Keep the outfit or change it on purpose. Say “same clothing”, or describe a new outfit in a separate pass.
- Decide on the background. Either “keep the background layout” or ask for a new setting, such as a cherry blossom street or a classroom.
- One change per pass. Convert to anime first, then change the background or outfit from the result. Mixed instructions lead to mixed results.

What it won’t do
The converter refuses requests involving nudity or minors in suggestive contexts, edits of real public figures, and edits meant to impersonate or harass someone. Please only upload photos of people who are happy to be turned into anime. Requests to recreate a specific copyrighted character may also be refused; describe the style you like in general words instead.
